Wildlife: Spring makes a visit...
Earlier this evening we had a couple of visitors. As I'm catching up on the evening news (and by news I really mean playing BF2 Bad Company on xbox 360) I hear a little tapping coming from the sliding glass door. When I pulled back the blinds I was greeted by this little fellow and his gal. Well, I know that I startled him a bit, because he was halfway back to the lawn before I could get my camera out to take the video.
Anyhow, as you can see in the video he came waddling back over to the sliding glass door to check me out. I think I took some two minutes of video and then realized that I should probably just leave them alone. At this point I closed the blinds again and went back to the news and picked up where I left off. However, the duck had other plans. He pretty much nestled right up against the door again and proceeded to tap at the glass for a few more minutes.
I thought that was an awfully nice way for Spring to say "Hello!"

We were treated to a great dinner high atop Whistler's peak, but in order
for us to get there we were going to have to take the new PEAK 2 PEAK
GONDOLA!! Now, a few of the pics included are from the smaller
gondola's we had to take up Blackcomb to get to the PEAK 2 PEAK.
The views from the PEAK 2 PEAK were utterly fantastic!!!

Video: POV on a Zipline adventure provided by Ziptrek Ecotour at Whistler, BC
So, for some stupid reason I sound like Kermit the Frog, but other than that the fun really starts around 00:22. You'll notice that things are a bit upside down because I had my Kodak Zi6 strapped to my safety harness and only once I got going was I able to retrieve the camera. Just take a look you'll see what I'm talking about.
We finally arrive at Woodrun Lodge in Whistler...
a couple of beers. Now it's a bottle of Pinot Noir and a hot tub in
our future!!!
