Ross Hutchison makes Bacon Marmalade out of his apartment kitchen in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood.
Bacon Marmalade?!? Yes. It was born of a cooking mistake. Hutchison burned some bacon and wanted to salvage it. He added sugar and vinegar to it, blended it, and voilà! After the jump, Food Curated's Liza De Guia captures Hutchison's story and process.

Regardless, I have grown up with a grandmother and auntie's always cooking in the kitchen. My fondest memories are coming in thru the door and immediately being greeted by the heavenly aroma of indo food.Well, for the first time in 10 years I was greeted that very same way when I walked through the front door of the quaint little house that nestles Julia's Indonesian Kitchen. Seriously, it took me back. Anyhow, on our way up the stairs we were told by a couple leaving that we were going to love the food.
